A to Z Challenge - E is for Explore

It has been my heart's delight to explore all things, all places. It has been my privilege to travel the world, following that passion. Today I offer a "double E" - Explore Europe -  in a photo journey through some of the places I've visited and loved.

Some highly recognizable places, some back corners, some main squares, some food and drink... and some Schwartz, the travel mascot.

Prague
Dresden
Berlin
Barcelona
Granada - The Alhambra
Seville - The Alcazar
Funchal, Madeira
Rome - The Appian Way
Venice
Mykonos
Stockholm
Helsinki
Copenhagen
Amsterdam
Sintra, Portugal

Paris
The Azores
Lucca
Cordoba
Schwartz in Lucca

So many more places and more yet to explore. Cheers!

    1. Hi Lisa. Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to leave a comment. Travel is one of the best forms of education I think. Keep on stepping out into the world.

  2. You've got great photos in this post. I've always had the heart and mindset of an explorer, but most of my exploring has been in North America which is fine with me. Nothing quite as good as getting on some unfamiliar road or pathway and discovering where it goes.

    1. Thanks Arlee! I agree that the lure of the unfamiliar road or pathway is an invitation not to be passed by. This continent of ours has amazing people, places and things to discover too.
      Happy trails!

    1. Hi Emily! I did begin a travel blog when we went to Japan and China but somehow it has gotten left behind. It's one of those things I keep meaning to get back to...
Anyway, here's the link for somewhat dormant travel blog: https://travelswithschwartz.blogspot.ca/

Re: your other comment about the twitterfeed (not published here): I really appreciate the feedback. I believe I have taken measures to correct the issue, but time will tell. Thank you so much for taking the time to draw it to my attention.
      Best regards,
      April

    1. Thank you, Susan. Europe wins the prize for the most visited in our travels. Schwartz has also been seen on the Great Wall of China, Shibuya in Tokyo, the Hermitage in St. Petersburg and a whole lot more.
      Happy trails!
